ACCOUNT REGISTERED, EMAIL CONFIRMED, I HAVE TO BE ENABLED BUT I STILL CAN'T LOG IN MY ACCOUNT. WHAT CAN I DO?

Account enabling is manual and assured during business hours (8am-18pm Mon-Fri UTC+1h). Registering two accounts is useless as soliciting enable out of working hours. Account enabling is always provided asap.

WHY ACCOUNT ENABLING IS NOT AUTOMATIC?

On our website we have different customers: individuals, companies, domestic, foreign, retailers, etc. With enabling, accounts get addressed on correct customer category and addresses got checked.

WHEN PRODUCTS WILL BE AVAILABLE AGAIN?

On our website the best option to not miss a product is getting notified from the site itself. When a product is out of stock, a banner appears "Notify me when available again". You will be informed by the site itself via email. Please do not send us pm, email if not really urgent. We will try to assure costant stock on our products and quick restock on them.

HOW MUCH TIME DOES THE SHIPPING TAKE?

We ship with DHL express ONLY. We can ship worldwide, but we won't use other couriers and specifically not EMS!! So don't even ask about EMS shipping. DHL express has a pretty fast service, delivery time depends by where are you located: from 1 to 3 days is the average. Be sure to be at home, or put in the site an address where someone can pick up the pack. Tracking number is provided via email to you directly by DHL itself. Orders received before 12AM will be shipped the same day, after 12AM orders will be shipped out the next day.

DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR CUSTOM FEES??

It depends: your provenience affects the taxation policy about our products and that's why once enabled you might see different prices on our website.

Let's take a 100€ (excl. tax) order as example, according to law, tax policy is:

European Community Customers don't have to pay for custom fees. They have to pay instead for VAT which is 22% (italian VAT). So they pay 100€+22%= 122€. European customers registered as companies with a valid tax ID (vat number) won't pay for VAT, so they will pay 100€. There are no custom within European Community countries.

Non European Community Customers don't have to pay for VAT (22%), but they eventually have to pay for custom fees. We cannot cheat in any way on invoice values or make proforma invoice. As you place an order and send us the payment, we have to get a custom report for that value from your custom. No way to avoid this process. We declare all our parcels as mechanical parts. WARNING: custom fees hardly overcome 5-15% which is even less than 22%. Basically you will probably pay goods less than Europeans customers. Any custom has its own policy, so if you want further informations better contact an importation agent in your country. Sometime customs don't have a fair policy (specially on high value parcels). We unfortunately cannot help you with that (neither DHL). So custom fees are not predictable, but average is around 5-10% and referring to example you will pay 100€ to us and 5/10€ to your custom. Often on low value parcels they dont even ask for tax. Remember: do not ask us for a proforma invoice or cheating on value. That won't happen.

WHAT KIND OF PAYMENT YOU ACCEPT?

We accept Bank Wire or Paypal (payments@generaldesign.it). Paypal fees are on customer. 

DO YOU ACCEPT PREORDERS?

No, we dont take preorders.
